The Atlantic
The Atlantic stands tall in a climate where journalistic outlets are seeing their First Amendment rights challenged.
We wanted to emphasize that The Atlantic is a legacy magazine with a long history of independence, one that will not be controlled or manipulated by outside forces, while underscoring that journalism is more essential now than ever.
My goal with the art direction and design was to create a series of covers to amplify this message and show that journalism and words are powerful, unwavering forces.
Brand Manifesto
In a time where distortion drowns out educational discourse, where propaganda parades as fact, and where online trends trump truth, The Atlantic remains solid. Since 1857, we have challenged power, we have questioned the narrative, and we have written with reason. While media platforms encourage controversy over insight, and administrations manipulate truths to benefit power over people—real journalism has never been more necessary. Choose the truth.
