Spread Design for Align Magazine

This is a spread I designed for Double Take, Align’s Winter 2025 Issue. Find my spread in the magazine here.

My goal with the design was to create a layout that let the photography and writing shine. Any unnecessary graphics here would have ultimately distracted from the strong and haunting imagery. I’m most proud of the image arrangement and the title font I used.

Design: Me! 🏄🏼‍♂️

This is a spread I designed for Evergreen, Align’s Spring 2025 Issue. Align is a student-run magazine at the University of Oregon that creates a new issue each term around a central theme. The full issue and my spread can be found here.

My goal with the design was to really lean into the medieval Renaissance aesthetic while keeping things playful. I wanted to keep the layout balanced and image-focused, while using fonts and graphics that complemented the photography and writing without feeling overdesigned.
